Overview
From cheetahs to the coast
This is one of those Cape experiences where two completely different worlds fit beautifully into a single morning. Begin with wildlife and conservation at Cheetah Outreach in Somerset West, then head towards the coast for a relaxed visit to Gordon's Bay.
Cheetah Outreach
The focus is not simply on seeing these extraordinary animals but on learning more about cheetah conservation. Enjoy a guided introduction and discover the work being done to protect cheetahs. There are also other animals and exhibits to see. An optional cheetah encounter and photograph may be available on the day, subject to availability and an additional fee.
Then we change the scenery
Continue towards the mountains and coastline of False Bay and the relaxed seaside town of Gordon's Bay. Enjoy a beach and promenade walk, take in the coastal views or simply enjoy some free time beside the sea, with time to buy refreshments if you wish.
Spots, sand and sea
Wildlife, conservation, coastline and some breathing space beside the ocean, all in approximately five hours, leaving the rest of your day free.
