What cookies are
02
How we group them
- Strictly necessary: always on.
- Preferences: remember choices that make the site easier to use.
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the site.
- Marketing: measure our advertising and show you relevant offers on other platforms.
03
Strictly necessary
- WordPress (wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie, wp-settings-*): keep logged-in users, such as Travel Trade partners and administrators, signed in securely.
- WooCommerce (woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_*): remember your cart and checkout details while you book.
- WooCommerce Memberships and other WooCommerce extensions: use the standard WordPress and WooCommerce session cookies to give members access to restricted content.
- Consent (falcon_consent): remembers your cookie choices so we don't ask again on every page.
- Security and performance: our hosting provider may set cookies that protect the site from abuse and keep it fast.
04
Preferences
- Elementor (local storage): remembers whether you have already seen or closed a pop-up, such as our newsletter invitation, so it isn't shown again.
- Embedded content such as maps or videos may set their own cookies when you interact with them.
05
Analytics
- Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): counts visits and shows how people find and use our website. Typically kept for up to two years.
- Mailchimp site behaviour: tracks which pages and products newsletter subscribers view on our site, so our emails can be more relevant.
06
Marketing
- Google Ads (_gcl_au, _gcl_aw and cookies on google.com and doubleclick.net): measure how our ads perform and show relevant ads on Google and partner sites. Typically kept for around 90 days.
- Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc and fr on facebook.com): measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and help show them to people likely to be interested. Typically kept for around 90 days.
- Mailchimp sales tracking (mailchimp_landing_site, mailchimp_user_email, mailchimp_campaign_id): connect bookings and purchases to the email campaign that led to them.
- WooCommerce order attribution (sbjs_*): records how a visitor arrived at the site, for example from a search engine or campaign, so we know which channels lead to bookings.
